The "Tavern Sack Back" is one of the most popular and useful of all Windsors. The bow is steamed and bent into an arc shape. The delicate arm is also bent. The spindles and legs are wedged and joined in a way that prevents them from coming apart. Price: $625

The "Captain Daggett" is a large and very comfortable design that was also known as the "Easy Chair." The seat is 24 x 17½" and the chair stands 45" high. The sweeping crest with carved ears and the elaborate carved knuckles on the arms make this one of the grandest of all American chairs. It is modeled on a chair that was made in Nantucket about 1790.

Price: $875

The "Edgartown", a Windsor Rocker
Elegant rocking chair has all the classic features of a Windsor Chair, but allows you to rock and loll. Note the hand carved rosettes on the crest. The arm, bow, and crest are made by splitting red oak logs, shaping the parts with a draw knife and spoke shave, and then steaming and bending them to get their final form.
Price: $875

The "Trestle Table" was one of the first tables made in the colonies. Early examples had a slab of wood for the top and simple feet. As tools became more available and craftsmen more skillful, the tables took on more elegant designs and style. My table has lines very similar and complimentary to the Windsor Chair. One very handy feature of the Trestle Table is that they can quickly be dismantled for easy transport and equally easy to put back together again.
Price: $875

The "Porringer Hall Table" is a reproduction of a Queen Anne period table from about 1750. The name undoubtedly comes from its round corners, which resemble a British cereal bowl - called a "porringer". There were also card tables with similar corners where card players kept their chips or placed a candle.
Price: $525

The "Colonial Foot or Harp Stool" is finished in milk paint and antiqued, and is a reproduction of a very popular and functional piece of furniture. It is 18" long and stands about 13" high. It would have been used to rest your feet, as a stand for a harp, seating for children, seating for cow milking, or whatever reason a person could imagine. The same is true today!.

Price: $125
